Additive Manufacturing

Development of materials for CFAM

Availability of a broad range of suitable materials for CFAM technology is critical for successful application in industry. Structural parts in airplanes require high and low temperature resistance and other mobility markets require engineering plastics. Circularity and recycling of materials is key in many markets.

BMC offers expertise and know-how on development of new continuous fiber materials, including selection and formulation of fibers and thermoplastics, impregnation technologies, quality assessment and print parameter optimization. We also focus on sustainable and circular materials.
