A coating that knows whether it is summer, or winter responds to the circumstances and decides for itself what to do: keep heat out, or keep it inside. A kind of sun paint that feels when it is winter or summer and that crystallizes when needed. And not unimportant: you do not see the layer, even if the coating is crystallized. Pascal Buskens one of our researchers explains how it works.
