Brightlands Materials Center Showcases Sustainable Mobility Program to Sir David King

Brightlands Materials Center recently had the privilege of hosting Sir David King, Head of the Climate Crisis Advisory Group and Founder and Chair of the Centre for Climate Repair at Cambridge University. King, a renowned climate scientist and advocate for environmental sustainability, visited BMC to learn more about the center’s sustainable mobility program.

During his visit, King met with Managing Director Koen Janssen and Richard Janssen, Business Development Manager of the Sustainable Mobility Program to discuss the program in depth and explore real-life examples of its impact. As the world continues to face the urgent challenge of climate change, BMC is committed to driving progress towards a cleaner, greener future.

Sir David King’s work in climate science and advocacy has been widely recognized, including his appointment as the UK Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser from 2000 to 2007. In his role as Head of the Climate Crisis Advisory Group and Founder and Chair of the Centre for Climate Repair at Cambridge University, King continues to be a leading voice in the fight against climate change.

This visit highlights the importance of collaboration between industry and academia in driving progress towards a more sustainable future.
